I Love These Magazines |

I originally bought a single 17rd mag to use with a Mantis baseplate, assuming that these mags were fun, but not tough enough to use for real. But, I liked them so much that I bought two more, and then another 3 when I went to 20-ish round mags. I've shot thousands of rounds through them, used cheap range ammo, premium self defense ammo, and dirty frangible, and they work every single time. I've dropped them on concrete and in mud, and, on one memorable occasion, directly into a barrel acting as a barrier, and I had the ROs shake it out because I wasn't going to leave such a good mag behind. My only recommendation is to disassemble the mag and lightly oil the spring, as the plastic is a bit sticky initially, and you'll get weird "skips", but those go away with use. The 21rd fits in a USPSA gauge, where the official VP9 20rd magazines do not.
